The National Competency-Based Teacher
Standards (NCBTS)
EC came up with the National Competency-
Based Teacher Standards (NCBTS) specifying
seven domains, namely; social regard for
learning, the learning environment, the
diversity of learners,
curriculum, planning and assessing and
reporting, community linkages, personal &
professional growth.
