Located in the province of Poopo, Pazña

is a town and community in the


departament of Oruro
Whit a population that
exceeds 5000 inhabitants,
this community is made
up of someof the oldest
areas of Oruro.
As another center of attraction we have the
Christ tattooed on a rock that has its natural
sanctuary in Pazña
In Pazña many of the residents have
decided to preserve the old houses with
small renovations to preserve the heritage
left to them by the old Orureños.
However, much of the landscape prior to the
establishment of neighborhoods was
characterized by some grazing lands for
sheep and llamas, suitable for crops of
potatoes, wheat, barley and chuño, and
other areas suitable for construction.
