Example of Narrative
The Smartest Parrot

Once upon a time, a man had a wonderful parrot. The parrot

can say every word , except one word, Catano, the place where it was
born.
The man felt excited about that weirdness of his parrot, so he
tried to teach the parrot to say Catano. However, the parrot kept not
to say the word. After teaching the parrot countless times and the
parrot still couldn’t say it, the man got angry. He shouted to the parrot
over and over, “Say Catano or I’ll kill you!”
One day, after still trying very hard to teach the word to the
parrot, the man got really angry. He picked the parrot and threw it
into the chicken house. Then, he said that the parrot is as stupid as the
chickens and he left it there.
Next day, the man came back to the chicken house. He was
surprised that there were three dead chickens. At the moment, the
parrot was standing proudly and screaming at the last chicken, “Say
Catano or I’ll kill you!”
