 INTRODUCTION TO
PROJECT
Computer shop Management system is use to maintain
the records of daily sales of computer and purchases
order of computer accessories,servicing,summary of all
the sales, purchase and various reports. The system
intends to speed up the process,improve the
efficiency ,data consistency, better error handling and
finally to achieve better customer satisfaction. The
system is having Various transatcion as per below
1) Order Transaction
2) Re-Order Transaction
3) Accessories Transaction
4) Provide 1 Year Free Service
 About existing system
It is depicted from the current scenario of the organization
that the work is carrier out manually .
The staff keep the records of payment of customer and
availability of computer accessories in the register. In the
register each page is maintained for individual customer .
There are number of daily activities carried out by
organization and for each activity or the process, it's difficult
to maintain records manually.
Thus Existing system is time consuming and very complex
almost in every job like make an invoice ,keep records of
payments, pending orders etc
As the Organization is newly established they do not
Make their system computerized and handle the
work manually .
Therefore to develop efficiency in the
Organization’s activities,
It is needed to make it computerized
 Problems with existing system
 Maintaining various details of customer in register every
day
 Manual process of maintain all records of Payments
Orders, pending order details etc and also very time
consuming as well as inaccurate sometimes.

 No security as per required standards. this is very

Risky part of not having the security to system

 Due to this any one in the Organization can handle

the important Documents through it’s illegal
 Problems in recording the services that are provide to
customers

 It is difficult to keep the records of dues from the customer

 The present system is very time consuming, very lengthy and

need the personal attention to each and every small part of
activity

As the existing system is not computerized, the stock of

maintained registers is increasing and it become difficult to
find a particular register book for a particular activity
 Changes of data redundancy are maximized

 The system suffers from non availability of standard working

format
 Scope Of Proposed System
Sai Enterprises is engaged into assemblies of PC’s and
branded Laptop .For assembly of PC’s, required material is
maintained or taken from sub vendor.
In this procedure certain activities are taken place, In these
activities some number of entities becomes part of this
procedure that has vital importance in this project
These are:-

 Stock
Delivery
Invoice
 Operating Environment

Minimum Hardware and Software platform required for implementing the

computerized system are as follows:

Hardware Requirements:
•PROCESSOR : PENTIUM IV AND ABOVE.
•MEMORY (RAM) : 256 MB AND ABOVE.

•HARD DISK : 10 GB AND ABOVE.

Software Requirements:

•LANGUAGE : VISUAL BASIC 6.0 AS FRONT END

This Software, Should Have The Knowledge Of Visual Basic.
 Complexity Is Strictly Avoided While Programming
To Provide Better Service To The User Who Will Going
To Use This Software
 It Provide The Security To The Customer Database.
 LIMITATION OF THE
SYSTEM
Every system has some limitation. These limitation should not
affect the system as a whole. In the proposed system also, these
some limitations.
1. The proposed system dose not provide the facility of online
payment to the three owner.
2. The main software requirements are as mentioned in the
software specification else system can not work properly
3. The coding system is developed assuming that the codes create
are enough in case the data crosses the code limit the system
would create the problem. These are the limitation encountered
in the proposed system that could be enhance.
 Future Enhancement

•To Keep track for profit and loss.

•ABC Analysis.
•User interface to maintain material requirement planning.
•We can provide organization’s web site on the internet. Through
that web site the customer book and clear the payment by the credit
card.
 Conclusion

User Friendly And Satisfy The Customer Requirement.

System Can Be Is Used Universally.

 Attractive Layout For Each Forms.
