GELATIN DESSERT

Gelatin desserts (also Jelly or Jello) are desserts made with a sweetened
and flavored processed collagen product (gelatin).
•Gelatin Desserts are esily prepared, economical and vary in many ways.
•Gelatin are marketed in two forms. First is unsweetened, granular type that must be
softened in water before use, and the fruit gelatin to which flavor, color, and sugar have
already been added.
LEMMON CHIFFON PIE
INGREDIENTS DIRECTIONS
1 TEASPOON OF UNSWEETENED 1. Soften gelatin in water for 5 minutes.

1 TEASPOON LEMON ZEST stift, adding remaining 1/2 cup sugar while whipping. Fold egg whites into
1/2 TEASPOON SALT custard.
1(9 INCH) PREPARED GRAHAM 4. Pour filling into pie shell and chill in refrigerator. Serve when firm. Garnish
CRACKER CRUST with sweetened whipped cream it desired.
LIME JELLO SALAD
INGREDIENTS DIRECTIONS
1 CONTAINER COTTAGE
CHEESE(SMALL CURD)
1. In a medium bowl, mix the cottage cheese and the

8 OUNCE CRUSHED PINEAPPLE 2. Add the drained, crushed pineapple and nuts

8 OUNCE WHIPPED TOPPING 3. Fold in the whipped topping
