COVID-19: Coronavirus Disease 2019. New respiratory disease, first

¿How?
• By close personal contact with an infected
person
• Through people infected by coughing or
sneezing
• By touching contaminated objects or surfaces
and then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes

¿Who?
They are at higher risk of getting seriously ill:
• Adults over 60 years.
• People with pre-existing conditions such as diabetes or
heart disease.
What does community transmission mean?

Inability to relate cases confirmed through transmission chains with a


large number of cases, or with the increase in positive tests through
sentinel samples.

Recommendations
Avoid close contact with people who have complaining symptoms. If you have a cough
and fever, avoid the strait and seek medical attention early.

When coughing and / or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with the inside
of your elbow or a disposable tissue (discard immediately).

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with


unwashed hands.

Hand washing
:

 Wash your hands frequently with soap and


water, following these steps,

 Do it for about 40 to 60 seconds

 If soap and water are not available, you can


choose to use alcohol-based hand sanitizer by
following the same procedure.

against this disease because they
induce immunity against the SARS-
Cov-2 virus that causes it, that is,
it reduces the risk that it causes
symptoms and has health
consequences.
