Introduction
• Central Indian Cuisines includes the food styles of
the state Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
• The Central Indian Cuisine is characterized with
rich, spicy and creamy dishes.
• Many sweet dishes are also originated from these
states.

• This dish which is enjoyed by all parts of India is
given by Madhya Pradesh.
• It is believed that Poha was created after India’s
Independence.
• It is often served with Jalebi, Sev, Usal, Sliced
Onions, piece of lemon and peanuts.
• Main Ingredients of this dish: Rice, Chilies,
Onions, Lemon, Peanuts, Mustard Seeds, Cumin
seeds and Curry leaves.

Jalebi
• The famous dish Poha is incomplete without
Jalebi, Poha Jalebi is the staple breakfast of

Bhopali Gosht Korma
• This dish is originated in the Capital of Madhya
Pradesh, Bhopal. This dish has been influenced
from the Mughlai Cuisine with a great dose of

• Chila is eaten in all states of India and mainly

with the rice batter mixed with the Urad Daal.
