Cloud Connector

- The Sap Cloud Connector allows the connection between the cloud
platform and onpremise systems.
- It works as a reverse proxy and this allows you not to have to open
ports on the internal firewall, in order to increase security.
- HTTP and RFC connections

After creating a connection to our SAP system on the Cloud Connector we need to add a destination within our sub-account.

The Service Marketplace is the center of all the services that can be activated on our sub-account.
Each service needs its own "Instance" to be used SERVICE -> CREATE INSTANCE

Once added we will find all our applications under "Instances and Subscription"

Launchpad

A very important service is the Launchpad, as for its

twin in SAP, it is used as a central point for accessing
applications.
By clicking on "Go to application" we enter our
service and we can start using it: add tiles, create
groups, catalogs ...

However, not all services are immediately usable, in

our case in fact under the Roles tab we see that
permissions are required to be able to access.

In the role collections tab we can manage all the

standard permissions to the users of the
subaccount + add custom permissions for the
new instances created.

BAS – Business Application Studio, is the cloud development environment that allows the creation of a wide range of applications : SAP Fiori,
Mobile application, Workflow, SAP S/4Hana extensions...

Possibility to start from template starter in order to become familiar with the environment and the technologies made available.

The HTML5 Application tab shows all the applications deployed on our subaccount

How do we access the applications created? Through the cloud launchpad

It allows the connection and management of the services offered by Service that allows you to create, manage and analyze everything related
the native platforms (IOS – ANDROID - WINDOWS) to the world of APIs.
