Objective of the product launch event

• An opportunity to showcase the newest product of the company to the investors ,


customers and influencers with the purpose of creating serious hype around new products
to boost initial sales and to build brand’s reputation.
• The ultimate aim is to build sales momentum and even acquire some sales right at the
event .
Pre-event activities :-
 Choosing an appropriate venue for the event
 Sending invitations to the targeted audience
 Checking the venue capacity for the audience
 Checking the parking facilities at the venue
 Contacting and inviting celebrities , famous you tubers and social media influencers for
the promotion of the newly launched product
 Forming an advertisement strategies for the promotion of the launch event
 Arrangements for food and beverages for the audience
 Deciding the seating agreements for the audience
 Checking the sound system of the venue
 Choosing theme of the event
( for example pool party to launch a tropical juice or garden themed party
for new line of summer dresses )
During event activities :-

 Commencement of an event on specified time


 Welcome speech by the host
 Informative newly launched Product related speech by the CEO of the company
 Serving food and beverages to the audience during the event
 Live telecast of the event on their respective social media platform like their official
website , YouTube channel , their app etc. sothat more audience can join and enjoy the
event virtually.
 Making sure that audience is comfortable on their respective seating area
 Distributing the samples of the newly launched product among the audience (only if
possible )
Post-event activities :-
 Thank you speech by the host of the event for the audience
 Thank you speech by the CEO of the company to all the employees of the departments
like production/manufacturing , product development etc. for their consistent hard work
and making the new product launch possible.
 Presenting attracting discounts and schemes for the retailors and wholesalers
 Question and answers round for the attendees
 Providing lunch or dinner to all the attendees after the successful event
