TikTok, is a video-focused social networking service


It hosts a variety of short-form user videos, from genres like pranks, stunts, tricks,
jokes, dance, and entertainment with durations from 15 seconds to three
TikTok was launched in 2017 for iOS and Android in most markets outside of 
mainland China; however, it became available worldwide only after merging with
another Chinese social media service, Musical.ly, on 2 August 2018.

WHY TIK TOK ANALYTICS?

TikTok Analytics is a special tool designed to help creators

and businesses track the metrics around their content.

It allows insight into useful data such as changes in follower

numbers, a profile overview, and video analytics.


HOW TO ACCESS TIK TOK ANALYTICS

1.Open the TikTok app.


2.Press the Me button at the bottom right of the screen.

3.Tap the three horizontal dots at the top right of the screen.
4.Navigate to Manage account > Switch to Pro Account
5.Select Creator or Business, both of which will have access to analytics.
6.Fill out the required details of the account type you selected.
7.Press Done.
ANALYTICAL TOOL CRITERIAS

OVERVIEW TAB
Your total number of views on all content posted in the past week
and whether that number has increased or decreased from the
previous week
Your total number of followers
How many followers you’ve gained or lost
The total number of profile views and whether that number has
increased or decreased
CONTD..

CONTENT TAB
When you click on the Content tab (in the top-middle of the
screen), you’ll see data related to your TikTok posts published
in the last seven days. That data will include:
The total number of videos you posted
The number of videos that are currently trending
Specific analytics for each video in order of newest to oldest

FOLLOWERS TAB
The number of followers you currently have
A graph showing if that total number has increased or decreased
in the past week
Demographics such as your followers’ genders and locations
What videos your followers have watched
What songs your followers have listened to

VIDEO ANALYTICS
 How many times your video has been played
 The number of likes it has received
 The total comments it has received
 How many times it has been shared
 Its total playtime
 The average watch time
 Sources of the video’s traffic, such as your profile or the For You page
 The number of users who watched your video and their top locations
