 Check blood sugar

1. Ensure that the glucometer is clean and ready to

use.
 2. Take the glucose test strip from the container,
then close the container tightly again. The test
strips can be damaged if they are exposed to
humidity.
 3.Wash hands with soap and warm water, then
dry.
 4.Do not use alcohol as it may dry your skin too
much.
 5.Massage the hands so that the blood collects on
the fingers.
 6. Use a lancet needle to prick the finger.
 7.Press the base of the finger to drain the blood
over the glucose test strip.
 8. Place the strip into the glucometer.
 9.After a few seconds, the blood sugar level will
appear.
 10. Record the results of the inspection.
 11. Discard the lancet needle and test strip in the
trash.
