Short term solution

 Employers should stagger office timings to reduce rush hour traffic

 In this Covid time minimum 2 passengers should make the constraints to reduce the
traffic. In normal time there should be 3 people required to drive the car.
 The people should be encouraged to walk and cycle
Cost analysis for shot term solution

 Lets take the passenger travelling from Andheri to Dadar

Cost of travel on local train = 60
Distance between Andheri to dadar = 16 KM
Average milage of car in India= 20KMpL
Total petrol = 20 / 16 = 1.25 liter
Total price if only one person is travelling= 109.98 * 1.25 = 137 Rs
So one passenger will save = 137- 60 = 77 rupees daily = 2310 rupees monthy
Long term solution

 Essential service people should be given the pass to ride the 4 wheeler, all other should travel by the
local train and buses.
 There should be heavy penalty on cars which are parked on the roadsides.
