2. Discuss the features, characteristics and
objectives of a Color Group Meeting
and a Kawan Meeting;
3. Discuss the tips in facilitating a
successful meetings.

The Color Group Meeting
-weekly gathering
-Conducted by Chief Usa
-Home of one of the boys or inside the
premises of sponsoring institution
-Songs, yells, games and other activities
are the features of this meeting
-contribute to the development of the
monthly theme

There are Seven (7) parts of a Color
Group Meeting, namely:
1. Before the Meeting Starts
-AKL and Chief usa review briefly the
program
planned
- Prepare the meeting place
2. While the Kab Scouts Gather
- Chief Usas and the Flag Bearers give them
games, tricks and puzzles, and lead them in
singing songs.

3. Opening Period
-Have a short, simple and informal
opening
- Have them sing a KAB Scout song or
give yells created by the members.
4. Color Group Business
- Reading of the Color Group Log Book
kept by the AKL
-Discussion on the projects or tasks to be
done based on the theme for the month
-dues are collecetd, advancement chart is
filled up and cheking on program

5. Activities Period
- games, tricks, puzzles
- read a very short yarn which may be related
to the theme for the month
- crafts project

6. Closing Period
- Announcement for the next Color Group
meetings
-A simple closing ceremony through Living
circle, a prayer, a simple song, or recitation of
the KAB Scout Promise and Law

7. After the Meeting
- Evaluate the accomplishments for the week
- Fill out a report on what transpired during
the meeting
- Discuss the details of the Color Groups
participation during the meeting

Blue
Is the colour of the clear
sky and the deep sea. It is
located between violet and
green on the optical
spectrum.
