Dr Ambedkar played a 

seminal role in the framing of the


Indian Constitution. He used all his experience and
knowledge in drafting the Constitution. In his capacity as
the Chairman of the Drafting Committee, he hammered out
a comprehensive workable Constitution into which he
incorporated his valuable views.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad holds immense contribution in the
overall making of the Indian Constitution. As the head of
the constituent assembly, he had an immense role in the
formation of the Indian Constitution. With a towering
personality, he desperately participated in the freedom
movement. The final constitution was adopted on 26th
November 1949.
B. N. Rau was appointed as the Constitutional Adviser to
the Constituent Assembly in formulating
the Indian Constitution in 1946. He was responsible for the
general structure of its democratic framework of
the Constitution and prepared its initial draft in February
1948.
JAWALAL Nehru also established our parliamentary
government. As a member of the Constituent Assembly,
Jawaharlal Nehru played a crucial role in the making of the
Indian Constitution as a debater, lawyer, leader and
politician.
sardar Vallabhbhai Patel played a decisive role in the
Constituent Assembly and remained the moving spirit
behind some of the landmark provisions of Indian
principles. Patel, a man of action, spoke only when
necessary in the Constituent Assembly, yet his impact on
the Constitution was much wider than his intervention in
the debates.
