 From Where We Got This Idea…

The objective of this project is to develop a Social

Distancing Indicator and Alarming System. The term
social-distancing (S-D) is a way to stop or slow the
spreading of contagious disease. In other words, it
means less physical communication between two or
more persons. In S-D the gap between two living
beings (normally human) is 6 feet (two meters). In
this short note, we propose a Social Distancing
Indicator and Alarming device that alerts the user
when he or she crosses the threshold S-D limit. This
equipment will help people to maintain safe
distance among themselves that ultimately help
avoidance of spreading coronavirus. This model is
the integration of the Arduino Uno R3, Ultrasonic
Distance Sensor, Neo Pixel Ring12, Piezo and
Breadboard. After doing some research from the
internet and advice from the lecturer. Tools and
equipment are identified to complete the project.

AIM-
Design and construction of Social Distancing Indicator and
Alarming System.

INTRODUCTION-
The Social Distancing Sensor alerts employees with a signal that
vibrates, emits a sound, and displays a light When they Cross
SD limit. The Social Distancing Sensor (SDS) helps people
remember to keep a safe distance from each other, for
example, in the workplace. It enables people to work together
more safely and protect each other’s health.
As you are aware that due to
CORONAVIRUS global pandemic Social Distancing is offered as
one of the ways to reduce the chances of infection from person
to person. In this concern we are trying to implement a simple
solution for social distancing alert system.
