• is a process used to guide teams to
make decision that can benefit their
companies.

• A decision making model describes


the method a team will use to make
decision.

When ethical Decision-making

Why Do “Good” people engage in
“Bad” Acts?

responsibility of immoral choices and
unethical behavior.

ethical judgementals they make.

known as SATISFICING.

MAKING IN MANAGERIAL
ROLES
-The ethical decision making
framework for managers relies on
reasoning using the principles of
RIGHTS,JUSTICE,UTILITY and CARE.

-it presupposes that managerial


decision makers have the capacity to
reason from principles in making an
ethical decision.
RIGHTS
-are justifiable claims or
entitlements,frequently based on the law other
authoritative documents such as treaties and
international declaration that allow people to
pursue their own interest.

JUSTICE
-the third way for managers to reason about
ethical decisions ,just decision require
fairness,equity and impartiality on the part od
decision makers.
UTILITARIANISM
-the harms and benefits of a decision to
the different parties that would be
affected by the decision are evaluated
with someone sort of weight given to
make various harms and benefits that
assesses their degree.
CARE
-proposes that ones moral
responsibilities vary according to how
closely one is linked to other people.
MANAGERIAL ROLES
-are specific behaviors associated
with task of management.

Four managerial roles:


1.Planning
2.Organizing
3.Leading
4.Controlling
