-WHAT IS A TABLET?-
ACCORDING TO WWW.TECHOPEDIA.COM : A TABLET IS A WIRELESS TOUCH SCREEN PERSONAL COMPUTER
(PC) THAT IS SMALLER THAN A NOTEBOOK BUT LARGER THAN A SMARTPHONE. MODERN TABLETS ARE
BUILT WITH WIRELESS INTERNET OR LOCAL AREA NETWORKS (LAN) AND A VARIETY OF SOFTWARE
APPLICATIONS, INCLUDING BUSINESS APPLICATIONS, WEB BROWSERS AND GAMES.

Students use tablets daily for various reasons. Depending


on the individual teacher, students may use tablets for
different amounts of times. Students can access learning
platforms such as Canvas. Check emails and video
conferences. Educational apps can be assigned for a
learning assignment. Students can take notes, create
presentations, or work on group activities while logged in
-How it is used by students- to their tablets. As technology develops, so do the ways a
tablet is used in a classroom.
