Secularism
• It is a Principal which tells us about
equal Respect to all religions and
religious faiths.
• Its metaphysical aspect deals with a
faith oriented concept of God or a
concept of human
• Its epistemological basis is concerned
with religious awareness earned y
both religious means and humanistic
means
• It is humanistic and practical
• It is rational and scientific
• It always has a social concern
• It act as both end and means
• A secular human may be a spiritualist
• It is a doctrine of relativism
Spiritualism
• It is a Principle which tells us about
nature and content of the concept of
spirit which is completely
transcendental
• Its metaphysical aspect deals with
something eternal and absolute
• Its epistemological aspect is concerned
with the concept of self knowledge
which leads to self realization
• It is metaphysical and often leads to
Mysticism
• It has its method of speculation
• It may or may not have social concern
• It appears as an end itself
• spiritualist is necessarily not a secular
• It is a doctrine of absolutism
