Components
Introduction, which states the topic, developing a certain
background for the following detailed analysis without
stating the personal opinion of the author.

Main body, which usually consists of two separate

paragraphs, providing the arguments for and against together
with their justifications, explanations and personal life
examples.

Conclusion, which provides either the opinion of the author,

explaining why the advantages outweigh the disadvantages
or vice versa, or simply restates the topic in a form of a
balanced consideration.

 How to write a good essay?

Be sure to:
1. Make sufficient literature review
2. Summarize the important points
3. Introduce the topic
4. Write all the summarized theories in a unified context
5. Cite the theories properly
6. Make an argument providing the proof.

 Make and argument
Make an argument, and reach a conclusion.

State the argument in the introductory paragraph.

The rest of the essay is an attempt to convince the

reader that your argument is sensible, logical, and
conforms to the facts.

The most important thing is to argue some point: don't

just say what they are but say what the advantages and
disadvantages of each are.

The World Should Increase The Use Of Nuclear Energy

Last year, after the mind-striking radiation leak crisis in

Japan, the issue of nuclear energy has turned into the
focal point of the public. Many people oppose the use of
nuclear energy after the crisis as they think the dangers
of nuclear accident overshadowed the advantages of
nuclear power. However, rationally speaking, nuclear
energy is indispensable for our future, since it is a viable
avenue to ease the energy shortage problem, it is a
sustainable energy and we can show down the progress
of global warming by increasing the reliance on it.

Example
Nowadays, 68% of our dairy energy comes from fossil
fuels and 13.4% from nuclear fission (World Nuclear
Association, 2013). As fossil fuels are non-renewable,
they will be used up one day. On the contrary, nuclear
energy is sustainable as it can produce more fuel than it
uses (World Nuclear Association, 2013). Besides, the
fuels for nuclear energy are abundant, they are from
sea water. As a result, nuclear energy is able to provide
us adequate energy in a stable and sustainable way. It
does play an important role on sustainable
development, which is the prime concern of energy
policy.

After the Japan Fukushima radiation crisis, there
has been a strong awareness of the potential danger
of nuclear energy. Undoubtedly, the consequences
of nuclear crisis are devastating and perennial, for
instance, radiation can cause cancer.

However, nuclear energy is actually safer to other energy
sources. There are quite a lot who would compare
nuclear power with other sources of energy with
reference only to rare incidents of nuclear disasters, but
without also accounting for the environmental hazards
arising from using fossil fuels.” (Madsen, 2013). When
we take a look at the statistics of the deaths from energy-
related accidents, we will find that nuclear energy is
distinctly safer. There was 400 deaths per year under coal
industry while less than 50 deaths under nuclear energy
industry. Only in China, direct deaths of miners already
hits 54000 people in the last 10 years (Cityu SU, 2013).

In conclusion, when coping with the various energy
problems, a far-sighted and determined action over
a sustained period is required. The advantages of
using nuclear energy are far outweigh the
disadvantages we gain in it. Thereby, increasing the
use of nuclear energy is a viable avenue to wrestle
with the energy problems.

(700 words) about the Global Warming.

Make sure to answer the following:

 Is there a real global warming
 Is it resulting from human activities

Make sure to cite your work well and to add references section
