Nasi Lemak
•Nasi Lemak is a Malay delicacy.

•It was made by soaking rice in coconut milk and then cooking it into the rice.

•We can eat nasi Lemak with eggs, cucumbers, peanuts and anchovies. Nasi Lemak is a national food of
the Malaysian people.
Nasi Kerabu
•Nasi Kerabu is a type of herbal rice.

•The main ingredients are blue rice, salted fish or fried chicken, crispy bean cake, shredded coconut,
salad, etc.
•The rice is dyed with butterfly pea petals and cooked.

•Nasi Kerabu is very popular on the east coast like Kelantan and Terengganu.
Satay
•Satay is a famous kebab in Malaysia.

•Common satays include lamb, beef, chicken, etc.

•After marinated and skewered, the satay is grilled on a charcoal stove and served with Kuah Kacang,
Malay rice dumplings (Ketupat), green onions and cucumbers.
Lemang
•Lemang is a delicacy eaten by Muslims to celebrate Hari Raya and Haji.

•Wrap banana leaves in a bamboo tube, add coconut milk and glutinous rice and bake it on the stove to
become delicious bamboo tube rice.
•During Hari Raya and Haji, vendors will sell lemang on the roadside.
Rendang
•Originating from Minangkabau, Indonesia, Rendang is one of the most popular delicacies in Malaysia.

•We can cook rendang with lamb, beef and chicken. In addition, we can add coconut milk and lots of
spices to complete the dish.
•We can enjoy it with Bamboo Rice, Nasi Lemak and Ketupat.
