Roman Theater

theatre, acrobatics, the staging of comedies, and high-verbally elaborate
tragedies.

The usual theme for Roman theatre plays were chariot races,
gladiators, and public execution.

The Christian opposed the barbaric themes of the plays and closed
down all theatre.
