What are its use?

● They are used to express probabilities or to

suggest a possible situation, both mean the same
thing, but they change due to the context since the
might is more formal than the may.

Affirmative Affirmative
Sujeto + “may” + verbo. Sujeto + “might” + verbo.

Negative Negative
Sujeto + “may” + “not” + verbo  Sujeto + “might” + “not” + verbo

In the case of may, it can be used to ask for and
grant permissions, to wish someone something and
indicate that there are enough probabilities for
something to be fulfilled.

For might, it can be used to ask permission, indicate a
condition, suggest, speak in the past tense, indicate that
there is a possibility of something happening.
