When making radio calls, remember this order; (this works for all
airports controlled or uncontrolled)
• Who; who do you want to talk to
• Who; who are you.....full registraon and aircra type on inial call
• Where; where are you
• What; what do you want to do or what are you going to do

• Öcseny Radio, HA-BOD is on the parking area taxiing to holding point 35.

• Öcseny Radio, HA-BOD is backtracking runway 35 for departure

• Öcseny Radio, HA-BOD is departing runway 35.... (include altitude and

intention if known “for the circuit” or “climbing to 2000’ to the training area
or “climbing to 2500’ enroute to Pecs, heading southwest”)

• Öcseny Radio, HA-BOD is climbing through 2000’ for.... (include target

altude E.G 5500’) leaving the pattern downwind RWY 35 (next Pecs or
enroute to Pecs)

• Kalocsa Radio, HA-BOD , 5 miles (inbound)

south-west, 2000 ft (on 1014), request joining instructions’. (traffic and
landing information)

• Budapest Info, HA-BOD, short before TIZ boundary, changing to

Pogany Info 126.915 ,

• Pogany Info, HA-BOD is norteast 2000’ short before TIZ boundry,

request basic service and joining instructions.

• Pogany Info, HA-BOD is joining downwind RWY 34, touch and go.
