• Also known as SOCIAL
RECONSTRUCTIVISM, this theory
claims to be the true successor of
progressivism and declares that the chief
of purpose of education is to
“RECONSTRUCT” society in order to
meet the cultural crisis brought about by
social, political, and economic problems.
