Biography
 Hello , My name is Sergio Ramos, I am 10 yers old, i am
study in the Robert Gagne school.
 I am fifth grade of primary school.
 And this time I am going to write about the new literary
promises of Moquegua.
 I like to write and read, that is why in this port I am
going to tell you about the contemporary writers of
Moquegua.
Concept

 As we all know, Moquegua had great writers such as: Jose Carlos Mariategui,
Mercedes Cabello de Carbonera, among others.
 nowadays there are great promises of Moquegua literature, Like: Giovanni
Barletti Araujo, (Moquegua, 1988) Yero Chuquicaña (Ilo, 1990, winner of the
national literature prize, 2017) Omar Joel Benites Díaz (Moquegua, 1988)
Pedro Pablo Peralta Casani (Moquegua 1991) and Ximena Machengo Rosado
(Moquegua, 1993).
Giovanni Barletti Araujo
 He was born in the city of Moquegua in 1988, he lived his childhood and
adolescence in the Samegua district, he studied at the Robert Gagne de
Moquegua school, he was an outgoing student, his friends highlight him for
being an extraordinary person who lives for art throughout His expressions, he
likes movies, photography, but what he does well and exceptionally is to
write, he has written books like "Dabai, Chelo, Dabai" (Come on, cello, Come
on) "El que no corre vuela", "The bad boys", "La casa Amarilla", "Catalog of
miserable characters", "Monolito XIX", among others, won the award of the
first Latin American contest of the Boring Genre in 2013 .
Yero Chuquicaña

 Born in the city of Ilo in 1990, Yero published the first 2 volumes, "Air-Maz 180"
and "Taca-Taca" from his collection of false stories, a book that led him to win
the national literature prize in 2017. I also publish "What is Love",”Peruanos de
Segnda manos” "Chicito" and "Wakman", Yero was invited to the international
book fair in Santiago de Chile (Filsa) Yero was recognized for his participation in
this fair
Gustavo Pino

 He was born in the city of Moquegua in 1991, he studied social communication


at the Social University in the city of Arequipa, he wrote "the sleeping city" in
2017. It is a book of stories where there are several regional references, from
a character called the "camaneja" even mentions of the University of Tacna
and the Candados bridge in Arequipa, Pino's work is like a virtual tour through
the most arid and desert territory of the country, in which the writer, through
his characters, acts as a tourist guide . He also won an award called "Letras
Arequipa 2020", in his works we also have "El maestro de Arequipa" (2012),
"Música en el callejón" (2013), "The summer I met a street artist" ( 2015)
Omar Joel Benites Díaz

 He was born in Trujillo on April 21, 1988, but lived in the city of Moquegua
from his childhood to the present, thus studying at the Robert Gagne College,
he is a lawyer by profession, he is passionate about philosophy. His favorite
author is Fernando Savater. He wrote the thesis "Consequences of the Lack of
Deepening of the Philosophy of Law in Criminal Judicial Casuistry". He writes
stories, essays and novels. One of his works is Sequels of Time. He works in
the Provincial Municipality of Mariscal Nieto.
Ximena Machengo Rosado

 Ximena is a new promise of Peruvian literature, born in Moquegua in 1993,


she studied at the Robert Gagne school, standing out for being a good
student, kind and intelligent, she studied civil engineering at the "Pontifícia
Universidad Catolica del Peru", she studied Master's Degree in Urban
Management and Development in the Netherlands. He published his first book
in 2019 called "Early Morning Rhapsody" where the genres are combined:
poetry and narrative, the 16 poems and 32 narratives that make up the book,
describe with beautiful language the feelings and reflections of a young
woman who tries adapt to the world.
