 Record green energy output helps india ease coal shortage in may
 Renewable energy source power output rose to 14.1% in May from 10.2% in April.
 Solar energy generations of CIAL(Cochin International Airport Ltd) crosses 25 crore units
 123 GW of solar capacity either commissioned or in pipeline : Govt
• Solar projects commissioned are 57.71 GW while 48.71 GW solar capacity is under
implementation as of June 30,2022.
• An aggregate capacity of 6.58GW of grid connected rooftop solar projects has been reported
as installed by various state implementing agencies.
• Also, the govt has set a target of achieving 100GW solar power capacity by December 2022.

• Total corporate funding (including venture capital, public market and
debt financing) in 2022 stood at USD 12 billion, 11% lower compared
to the USD 13.5 billion raised in 2021.
• ICICI Securities has hold call on solar industries India with a target
price of Rs.2900 while the current market price of it is Rs.2798.45.
