Strengthening the BSB
area cross-border smart
farming entrepreneurial
ecosystem

GA5 Objective:
The final GA5 aims at strengthening the
BSB area cross-border smart farming
ecosystem deployed within the project,
including active, informed and
interconnected stakeholders from
agriculture and connected sectors from 6
countries.

The partners will form Task group

5 involving a business mentor.
BAC will lead the GA5, providing
the partners with methodological
support and guidance. GA5
includes organisation of 6 regional,
3 "two-partners" and 1 cross-border
brokerage and machtmaking events.

Armenia
 Brokarage Events:
01 Greece - Bulgaria
The intention is to bring farmers from Greece
to Bulgaria to meet ICT developers, as Varna is
an ICT business centre (P2 is a founder of the
ICT cluster in Varna) and SAAS for example
(software as a service) companies charge much
less than in Greece, so fruitful cooperations
might be explored.
02 Moldova - Romania
Moldavian farmers will benefit a visit to Galati
University to meet researchers and get
acquainted with innovations in agriculture.
03 Georgia - Armenia
Georgian stakeholders will benefit to meet with
experts from SME DNC as the start-up engine
in Armenia and benefit from exchanging
knowledge in the field of innovations in
agriculture. At least 50 enterprises will be
participating in this cross-border agroindustrial
events
Partners will support the preliminary matchmaking
between interested partners through the platform and
the sending partner will bring (by minibus/cars) up to
8 participants to the hosting partner where personal
meetings will be arranged in on a half-day gathering.

"Smart farming Black Sea Basin" cross-border vision and
brokerage CONFERENCE

• 60 participants from at least 6 countries

Chisinau, Republic of Moldova
• to discuss and imagine the digital agriculture of the future in BSB, the
host partner and its partners will provide representatives of the farming
industry, technical and research organisations and start-ups with the
opportunity to participate in a joint cross-border agro-industrial event -
an international multi-stakeholders knowledge and visions sharing
event at Chisinau for commonly elaborating an action plan, based on
the previously agreed roadmap for Smart farming and on how to
realise a new vision for modernisation of the agriculture in Black sea
basin countries with the joint efforts of stakeholders from the
quadruple helixes.

the interconnections built between regions
