Remember That
 Articles are the words that go with nouns. In English we use the definite articles, the, and the
indefinite articles, a and an. Let's see how they work.
The
It fulfils the function of “el, la, los and las”, which implies that it accompanies feminine, masculine
and neuter nouns, regardless of whether they are in the singular or plural. For example:

 The boy is in the park.


 The boys are in the park.

 KEY:
 It is called the definite article because when it accompanies a noun, it tells us specifically
about one or a few in particular.
A & An
They are indefinite articles because although they are talking about one thing, they do not
specify which one. It is different to say a ball, than the ball.

 Unlike the, this article is only used to talk about one thing in the singular and can be counted.

 A boy walks on the park.


 A boy walks in the park
