Definition

Enterprise Environmental Factors are conditions that

influence, constrain, or direct the project.
Enterprise Environmental Factors

• These factors are considered inputs to most planning processes.

• Enterprise Environmental factors can be internal or external to the

organization.

• The project manager must consider any or all environmental factors

(internal and external) that surround or influence a project’s success. 
Internal Environmental Factors

• Environmental factors within the organization

• Internal Environmental Factors can be controlled.

• These factors are the strengths and weaknesses of the

organization.

• Negative effect to the development of the organization then

it’s a weakness.
External Environmental Factors

• Environment factors outside the organization.

• External environment factors cannot be controlled.

• These factors represent organization’s opportunities and
