DEFINITION
Immunization are administration of
substances which protect a person
from becoming infected by particular
pathogens.
 PURPOSE
To increase immunization coverage.
Improve the quality of service.
To achieve self sufficiency in vaccine
production.
To train healthcare personnel.
Supply of cold chain equipment and
good surveillance network .
COLD CHAIN
Cold chain is a system of storage ,
transportation, distribution and
administration with effective potency
of recommended temperature from
the manufacturer.
TEMPERATURE
TEMPERATURE – to preserve all vaccines at
+2 to 8 Degree Celsius ,cold chain
equipment have been supplied.
ILR( ICE LINED REFRIGERATOR ) in PHC
setup with temperature monitor.
Walk in coolers with temperature monitor
in state level.
