1. Brief indtroduction

• Some basic physics: Power (wattage). Potential diffence (voltage), current (amperage).
• Elements in quick charging technologies: Phone, charger, cable, algorithms.
• Different technologies:
• PD (PPS): (100W). Used by Samsung, Sony, Motorola, Nokia
• Vooc-Warp-Dash-Dart: Used by Oppo, OnePlus and Realme
• Supercharge: Used by Huawei and Honor
• Flashcharge: Used by Vivo
• Hypercharge: Used by Xiaomi, Poco, Black Shark
• Quick Charge: Used by Qualcomm.
• Pump Express: Used by Mediatek.

1. CSR recommendations

• Educate customers on cable compatibility: label the cables with the amperage, use different inside colors.

• Specify in the device the charging speed in watts, regardless if using quick charge or not.

• Implement at least 2 quick charge technologies in the devices: i.e. Oppo Find X5 Pro charges at 80W SVOOC but also
at 18W.

• Implement at least 2 quick charge technologies in chargers: i.e. OnePlus latest charge support 150W SVOOC but also
45W PD
