Large magneto crystalline anisotropies and high saturation magnetization and also a high curie loop temperature. The anisotropy field was 120T for the system. Phase equlibria sm rich corner of ternary system have not completely been calculated. Known Corecivities @ 8T where found Tc 516K

The large coerecivity of 8T which is sufficient enough to make permanent magnet materials. From this point it is known that the addition of small amounts of Fe added will increase the curie temperature and saturation magnetization which is the goal of my experiments. Goals is to continue doping and compound characterization to find the optimum doping with this 1:4 magnet.

Chosen to vary x by small values from 0.05-0.2 Minimize loss of Rare Earth through vaporization. Homogeneous mixture by melting thoroughly many more times than previously done while continuing to conserve RE. More through description of compound properties as well as an investigation into what industry uses can come from this as well as a cost analysis.

From the magnetization curves you can observe two phases Hard and Soft. Advantages of the hard and soft phase magnets is to improve coercivity by creating a semihard phase between the two states. This semi hard phase is large in its magnitude which is a desired result.
