BELIEF

 Conviction concerning particular ideas. It shapes our ideas regarding our reality and is influenced by
our perception, experiences and ideas.

 We believe that certain objects exist because we perceive them through our senses.

 Generally requires proof or an assurance of a certain degree of truthfulness.

 Others are formed not on the basis of perception and actual experiences but through mental process
based on ideas and attitudes.

 Belief is not only based on perception, fact or empirical evidence but also on the acceptance of the
likelihood of something to be true.
FAITH

 Belief that is not based on proof.


 Confidence or trust
 In religion- observance of religious obligations, n attitude of reverence toward
entities and ideas tat are considered important in that religion, and unwavering
trust in the major beliefs of particular religion.
BELIEF SYSTEMS

 Ideas we hold that define our personal sense of reality.


 We utilizes belief system through mechanism that we makes sense of the world.
 The signs and symbols have meaning to a person because they are considered
significant by society.
 Introduce a set of symbols that define larger philosophical and spiritual ideas,
which also influence the way a person looks ar his or her life and society and the
world in general.

 Similar to belief systems however this tries to explain and interpret realirt, history
and civilization

 Religion is a relationship between humans and that which they regard as holy
sacred, absolute, spiritual divine or worthy of special reverence.
 Commonly regarded as consisting of the wat people deal with ultimate concerns
about their lives and their fate after death.
 Set of belief and practices that related to metaphysical and transcendental issues
 Primary formed within the context of a particular religion and provide a
framework of connectedness to the divine.

 Related to religion because it explores the experiences pf humans as they relate to GOD.

 Religious beliefs often include philosophical insights regarding the world and everything in it, the meaning
of life an mans purpose.

 Refers to the study of the meaning and nature of religion that focuses on the analysis of religious concepts,
beliefs, terms, arguments and the practices of religious adherent.

 Looks into religious beliefs to gain an understanding of how mans relationship with the divine influences
ideas and actions.

 Refers to a broad set of principles that transcend all religions.
