COOK
RICE ?

Step 1

Measure the rice grains


with a measuring cup and
put it into the cooking pot.
Step 2

Rinse the rice grains


thoroughly cold water to
remove any contaminants.
Rub the rice softly. Rinse it
twice, then drain the water.
Step 3
Add water to the rice. Measure
the water by simply place your
index finger so that it is
touching the surface of the rice,
then add enough water so that
it comes up to your first
knuckle.
Step 4

Place the cooking pot in


the rice cooker properly.
Step 5

Close the lid of the rice


cooker firmly.
Step 6
Plug the cooker in, then press the
cook button to turn it on. The
cooking will start immediately.
The button will switch into warm
mode when the rice is done,  keep
the lid closed for a further 15
minutes for the rice to fully steam.
Step 7
Once there is no water left,
the rice should be ready to
eat. Use a rice spatula to stir
the rice after cooking, it will
break up clumps and release
steam, preventing the rice
from overcooking.
Step 8

Unplug the rice cooker to


minimize the rice sticks
to the pot.
