Pranouncation American style
● Pronouncation is the from in which the elementary symbols of language, the segmental
phonemes or speech sounds, appear and are arranged in patterns of pitch, loundness, and
duration.

● American Style pronunciation has a silent "t" character, namely the pronunciation of "t"
seems to disappear like the example Center, so the "t" seems to change to between the
letters "t" and "h" and leans more towards the letter "d" Center then the pronunciation is
Cender. Another example, the Internet, the American version is pronounced Inernet, and
twenty will mute the "t" and become tweny. That's what the silent "t" means in American
Style. Nothing is pronounced in British but Nothing is pronounced if American is
Nathing, the "o" becomes an "a". Sounds if we use American Style then the pronunciation
sounds more comfortable than British .
B. Differences Between American And
british English

The main difference you will find between british and American English
is the spelling. In fact, American English changes the spelling of some
English words.. This is the quickest and easiest way to find out if you are
reading British English or American English. However, vocabulary is also
another aspect that can be looked at to find out which country the
language is from. Because language is inherently tied to the culture of the
area where it is spoken, and there are a number of differences between
british and American culture. So, it is not surprising that there is also a
difference in term of linguiststics between the two countris.

2. Slang or Dialect
US and UK accents are one of the most visible factors that differ. Actuaclly, differences in accents
of speech are not uncommon. In fact, both in America and in England, the accent used is different.
For example, the Los Angeles accent and the new York accent are slightly different. While in
England, London may have a different accent from British citizens living in mancester.
However, the most striking difference between the two English languages is the pranouncation of the
letter “R’’. Americans still pronounce the letter “R” in every word they say, while Britons don’t. the
leeter “R” in British English is only read if it is at the beginning of a word.
3. Writing
the writing in american english and british english is also different. This
difference does not exist in every word, but it is important for you to know it
so that you can write the right word when using one of these english
languages.
for example : in british english, “color” and “behavior” are written with
“co;our” and “behavior”. Meanwhile, the words “theater”, “meatre”, and
“centre” are written with “theatre”, “metre”, and “centre”. There are many
other words that have different spellings in the two english languages.
4. Grammar
the grammar used in these two languages for daily communication is
also quite different. But that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong,
because it’s just a matter of habit. For example, American are accustomed
to using the past simple tense to describe an event that just happened.
meanwhile, English people prefer to explan the same thing in the
present perfect tense. For example, americans would say, “I went to the
theatre”, while the british would say, “I’ve been to the theatre.”
event though there are so many differences in these two English
languages, it doesn’t mean that one is incorrect and the other is more
correct. It’s just a matter of usage and habit.
