The City of Hemet will be a destination of
opportunity and empowerment for its
residents, businesses, and visitors by
capitalizing opportunity, striving for growth,
and promoting diversity and respect for each
member of our community. 
• With publicly-held meetings and after
gathering public input early 2021, Council
adopted the Strategic Plan for FY 21/22
emphasizing on five priority goals

Graffiti Abatement
• Staff interviewed two contractors, Liberty Men's
 Restoration and Victory Outreach, to
arrange agreements to perform graffiti
abatement and clean-ups
• Agreements have been prepared and
graffiti abatement/clean-ups began in February
2022

• Completed weed abatement between and surrounding the baseball fields, tree trimming, litter
abatement, dragging infields/warning tracks, mowing the outfields, ordering the fence caps, painting
the exterior of the dug outs and back stop

• Adopt-A-Street Program
• Groups can apply to adopt one-mile portions of Hemet right away, in exchange for a sign erected at
a location on the roadway, deemed appropriate by the City

Develop programs to offer support to the community's businesses

• Develop one-stop shop in City Hall for processing of all business-related documents
• The City of Hemet now has implemented QR code for all applications that is available for the public
on our City Hall lobby wall.
• QR code will always be updated and simple to load to customers device for future retrieval.
