PRESENCE OF GOD
DWELLING IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD
What does it mean to dwell?
• To abide, to remain, to reside, to
settled
• Dwell is to be fully present in a place
or with a person
DWELLING IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD

• When we dwell with God, we are

conscious or aware of His
presence in our lives.

Question:

Psalm 15:1
1
Lord, who may dwell in
your sacred tent? Who may
live on your holy mountain?
Who has the right to live
in the presence of God?
Answer:
Psalm 15:2
• The one whose walk is
blameless, who does what is
righteous, who speaks the truth
from their heart
Points to ponder:
1. Some believe in God but do not
have an intimate relationship
with Him.
2. Many are born again yet aren’t
transformed by His presence.
3. Many are frustrated, wondering why
they lack the results described in His
Word.
4. Although at times he fell short, David
discovered the possibility of a special kind
of life. He called it dwelling in God’s
sacred tent and living on His holy
mountain.
5. These were places where His
presence was overwhelming, with no
sin, corruption, or compromise.
6. Entering this realm required a total
commitment, not just making
promises but demonstrating their
commitment in practical ways.
7. Those seeking this intimacy focus
their lives on God and are sold out for
Him.
Conclusion:
Commit your life to Him. Seek first His
kingdom and have compassion to His
words and to others. As a result of
this intimacy, our lives will be more
transformed by His presence and we
will never be shaken.
Thank you and
God bless us all!
