INTRODUCTION
In today’s competitive business industry, business success is the most important thing. Only to achieve the
goals of the business, businessmen think and come up with various methods and strategies. And one of the most
important factors determining the success of a business is quality. Customers often consider the quality of the
products and services of a business before purchasing them. In reality, quality often gets dominance over price in
some situations, regardless of what industry those who're involved in. Quality maybe a simple word when people
hear it but managing quality is a crucial task for every businesses. To satisfy customers and keep their loyalty,
quality is crucial so that people continue to buy from the business in the future. Quality goods contribute
significantly to long-term sales and profitability.
TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Total Quality Management reflects a long-term performance management approach used by
companies around the world to optimize their goods and processes and maximize customer loyalty,
which is seen as a source of competitive advantage. A look at the current literature points to a lack of
studies to analyze the implementation of TQM in developed countries, especially in Latin America. In
order to promote product improvement, the calculation of TQM with this instrument takes into
account a management approach, including an overall quality management strategy in accordance
with quality control and production aspects (goods or services). In this way, each employee has what
is required across the internal block of top management and processes to fulfill the job. Furthermore
each client and supplier is satisfied and, thus, the company has a ‘total’ vision of quality by promoting
a total quality environment. (Benzaquen & Charles, 2020)
