 Foreword
First of all, we pray and give thanks to Allah SWT, because of His mercy and
blessing, we can regret this presentation properly and on time.

We do not forget to say thank you to Mrs. Ana as the English teacher who guided
us in carrying out this assignment. In this presentation we explain about building
equipment

There may be more information that we don't know yet. Therefore, we ask for
suggestions and criticism from friends and teachers. We hope that this
presentation can provide useful information in building equipment.
 1. Screwdriver
The first building tool that must be available in every home is a
screwdriver.
You certainly know that screwdrivers are widely used in various
tools, right?
From electronics, to furniture, to gadgets, everything requires a
screwdriver.

Type of screwdriver can be divided into two, screwdriver flower (shaped like a plus sign) and
flat screwdriver (shaped like a minus sign).
Meanwhile, the sizes are very diverse from small to large screwdrivers are all available.

General function of screwdriver

In general, the function of a screwdriver is to tighten and loosen bolts / screws / nuts with
similar heads.
With this screwdriver it will help you to repair and assemble electronic equipment and items
that have bolts / screws / nuts.
 2. Pliers
The definition of a plier in general is a clamping tool used to
clamp, cut and hold objects tightly. So the essence of the
description of the plier is just a clamp tool that has many uses.
The manufacturing material of this tool is a kind of metal that
has a fairly heavy mass character. Usually the type of metal
money is often used in making pliers, namely iron and steel.
While the handle is made of rubber material which has a hard
character.

Here are some functions of the pliers:

• Cut the wire. Cables and fibers as well as various objects
that have a shape like wire are prey for pliers. The
function of this one pliers is the same as the function of
scissors. The difference is that the objects cut by pliers
generally have a hard characteristic and cannot be cut
using scissors or a knife.
• Bending metal objects, such as nails. However, it's not
just bending, but the function of pliers can also help shape
metals such as wire.
 3. Saw
As a household tool, a saw is a must-have tool. Saws can be used to cut a
variety of materials such as wood, pipe, or even metal. But if you don't have a
saw and intend to buy one, first identify the types of saws that are available.
Each saw has its own function. So in order not to make the wrong choice, here
are the types of hand saws and their functions:

• TYPES OF HANDSAW SHAWS

Handsaw or ripsaw is a type of saw that serves to cut and split wood. The
handsaw saw blade looks large so it is able to cut wood, it's just that this type
of saw is designed to cut wood with wood grain paths in the same direction.
The handsaw saw blade is not replaceable.

• TYPES OF COPING SAWS

This type of saw has a shape that resembles the letter "U". This saw structure
is useful for making it easier when cutting narrow parts. Coping saws are used
to cut plywood. Coping saw blades are smooth and tight in texture. In addition,
these saw blades can be replaced if they become dull.
 4. Hammer
A hammer is a work tool that is used for nailing, forging metal, repairing an object, or
for destroying other objects. This tool is generally used in mechanical or carpentry
needs which is useful in helping lighten and simplify work. This equipment is one of
the hand tools whose use can only rely on or utilize human power.

We can also call a hammer as a hammer or if it is very large in size we call it a

sledgehammer. The existence of the hammer is also thought to have existed in pre-
literate times. In the use of the hammer must be in accordance with the type of work
to be done. There are various types of hammers in the world of mechanics and
carpentry. Of each type of hammer must have its own advantages and uses. The
following are various types of hammers that are often used in mechanical and
carpentry work:

• Nail Hammer
In this nail hammer there are 2 sides or parts, the first flat side is used to hit the nail
surface, while on the other side or the claw part is used to pull nails from the
workpiece.

• Hammer Conde or Hammer Round

The head of the conde hammer consists of 2 sides or parts, namely the flat part of
the hammer is used to hit the workpiece, while the round part is used to make
hollows in the workpiece.
 5. Wrench
wrench is a key for removing or installing nuts / bolts that can be adjusted narrow
or wide according to the size of the nut or bolt. the construction consists of a
stationary jaw, an adjusting screw sliding jaw and an arm.

this tool is an adjustable wrench, the jaw can move to adjust various sizes of nuts
within a certain range. The wrench is made of high quality steel alloy for strength
and reliability. One of the jaws is attached to the handle and cannot be moved and
the other jaw is free to move on the handle. A device is used to lock the free-
moving jaw in the required position, this wrench is made of high quality forged
steel and the surface is chrome plated or black-finished for durability.

A wrench can be used to remove or tighten nuts or bolts where the size of the
wrench and washers do not match, but they are not intended for heavy loads. The
wrench must match the size of the nut or bolt without making the nut and bolt
heads round.
 6. Drilling Machine
One of the tools that we often encounter is a drilling machine. Drilling machine is a
machine with the movement of rotating the cutting tool with the direction of use of the
drill bit only on the axis of the machine. This machine can be used to drill or punch
round holes in sheet work. There are various types of drilling machines, each of
which has its own function. Here is the explanation.
• Hand Drill Machine
Hand drill machines are usually used to drill iron and wood. This depends on the drill
bit used. In addition, this type of drilling machine can also be used to tighten or
remove bolts. How to use it yourself by hand by pressing the button on the handle.
The shape that resembles a gun also makes this type of drill called a gun drill.
• Impact Drilling Machine
This type of drilling machine is almost similar to a hand drill machine. However, the
drilling machine is capable of vibrating and has a vibration suitable for drilling walls.
The drill bit used is also specifically for punching holes in the wall.

In addition, the drilling machine also functions to make grooves, expansion and
smoothing with precision and accuracy.
