country most interesting.
Long ago north and south Korea
were one but there was a
separation of the two and now
there is a rivalry, and this
separation happened in 1948.

CLIMATE
South Korea's main climate is continental type, which is characterized by
wide temperature variations throughout the year. In the northern and central
regions of the country, it is common for temperatures to drop below 0ºC in
winter, but the snow only reaches the mountains of T’aebaek. Still, there are
records of temperatures of -20°C, while the maximum temperature does not
exceed 30°C. Summers are characterized by milder climates, with
temperatures around 25ºC throughout the Korean territory.
