Dalam Islam, hukum merawat jenazah adalah Fardhu kifayah. Yakni apabila dalam suatu
qaryah (daerah) sudah ada yang merawatnya, maka kewajiban merawatnya gugur bagi
anggota masyarakat yang lainnya.

1. Pejamkan matanya dan mohonkanlah

01.1 Syarat Memandikan jenazah
Syarat-syarat jenazah wajib
dimandikan: Beragama
Islam,Terdapat anggota
badannya walau sedikit,
Jenazah tidak mati syahid

laki-laki atau perempuan,
mahram dari jenazah,

Air yang digunakan untuk memandikan

jenazah adalah air mutlak, yaitu suci dan
mensucikan. Memandikan jenazah bisa
sebanyak 5 kali atau 7 kali basuhan dan
kelipatannya.
