Description
Step 1:
• Brainstorming different legends from Peru and choose
the one that you like the most. For example:
Lake Titicaca
The legend of the evil bird
The sirens
Pachamama
The vision of Yupanqui
Huacachina
The condor
The enchanted bull
The tunche
• The group select ONE LEGEND to talk about it.

Step 2:
• Write the legend in a text (60-80 words)
Step 3:
• Then record the story in a video.
• After you have finished writing the story, divide it in
four parts according to the number of members in your
group.
• Each member of the group should tell part of the story
by heart. (You should memorize it. Do not read it.)
• The video should last between 3-5 minutes.

A: Hi, guys! Let’s tell you a story “The myth of the condor”. Once upon a
time there was an old shepherd who lived with his beautiful young
daughter in a little village at the top of the Andes. The girl pastured the
sheep, llamas and other animals from her father’s farm.
B: Suddenly a young man started to visit her at the mountains. He went to
visit her everyday dressed in a very elegant way. Black suite and black hat
and a beautiful shiny white scarf. They were talking all the day when he
visited while she pastured the animals.
C: Eventually they became close friends and in one of his visits he asked
the girl to play a game. “If you pick me up, I’ll pick you up”. She trusted
the man and lifted her arms facing him. He took her and by making a quick
jump into the sky he turned into a magnificent condor and took the girl to
his nest.

D: They lived together in his nest for a long time. He brought her food
and took care of her and she fell in love with him and gave him a beautiful
baby. The girl loved them both but she missed her father deeply and
cried every night thinking about how lonely her poor old dad was.
