Question 3 - Paragraphs
London began with a rapid spread rate
lasting for about 4 days. The scenery
looked like hell has visited Earth to burn
every living cell to ashes. The streets
were filled with people trying to carry
their possessions to safety. Many tried to
escape the flames by boat on the River
Thames, or by throwing themselves into
the water. Many people were not affected
but 80 percent of the city, including 13
000 homes, were destroyed.
•The day after the Massive fire, taking a
casual walk through the city would feel
like walking through a warzone, with
ruined sceneries and the devastated
feeling of people. The fire got so intense
that buildings needed to be blown up
with gunpowder to stop the progression
of the fire. The cost of the damage caused
by the fire was estimated at the time to
be 10 million euros – approximately 40
million euros in today's money.
