INTRODUCTION
What is roboti cs?
Roboti cs is branch of engineering that involves the constructi on,
design, manufacture, and operati on of robot.
This fi eld overlaps with electronics, computer science, arti fi cial
intelligence, mechatronics, nanotechnology .
ASPECTS OF ROBOTICS.
The robots has mechanical construction form or shape
design to accomplish a particular task.
They have electrical components which power and control
the machinery.
They contained some level of computer program that
determine what when and how a robot does something.
APPLICATION
 Machine loading
 Pick and place operation
 Welding
 Painting
 Inspection

8051 MICROCONTROLLER
8051 microcontroller is designed by Intel in 1981. It is an 8-
bit microcontroller. It is built with 40 pins DIP (dual inline
package), 4kb of ROM storage and 128 bytes of RAM
storage, 2 16-bit timers. It consists of are four parallel 8-bit
ports, which are programmable as well as addressable as per
the requirement.

IR SENSOR AND DC MOTOR
IR SENSOR
An infrared (IR) sensor is an electronic device that measures
and detects infrared radiation in its surrounding
environment. Here IR sensor is use for detect object or
obstacles.

IR SENSOR
MOTOR
The DC motor is the device which converts the direct current into
the mechanical work
A DC motor consists of an stator, an armature, a rotor and a
commentator with brushes. Opposite polarity between the two
magnetic fields inside the motor cause it to turn. Here dc motors
is use to run the robot model.

LED(LIGHT EMITTING DIODE)
A light emitti ng diode is a semiconductor light source that
emits light when current fl ows through it.

LCD(LIQUD CRYSTAL DISPLAY)

LCD (LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY) is a type of fl at panel which is
used liquid crystals in its primary form of operati on. They work
by using liquid crystal to produce an image.

KEIL SOFTWARE
Keil development tools for the 8051 Microcontroller Architecture support every
level of software developer from the professional applications engineer to the
student just learning about embedded software development.
WORK DONE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF WIRE LESS CONTROL ROBOT

IR sensor, LED, LCD, motor and Bluetooth were connected to 8051
microcontroller to desired ports.
Individual programme for IR sensor, LCD, led and Bluetooth is developed by keil software. Then
programme will be executed by zero error.
Programme is developed by keil software were dumped to microcontroller with the help of
nuvoton software.
From phone with the help hc-05 Bluetooth app were Bluetooth is connected and suitable
command is provide to run the robot.
IR sensor is use to detect to object. If ahead to robot then it will stop running and change its
direction.
LCD is use to display the name.

WIRELESS CONTROL ROBOT

CONCLUSION
Knowledge about construction and working of basic Robotic systems.
Knowledge of design of mechatronics and robotics elements.
Knowledge about selection of Sensors, Microcontrollers and Motors etc.
Designed a Bluetooth controlled basic robot.
communication skills, time managements, time management.
