Concept
As we have said before, abortion is the
expulsion of the fetus during pregnancy,
whether induced or spontaneous.
There are 7 circumstances where abortion is not
considered a crime
o Pregnancy is the cause of rape
o The abortion is accidentally caused In the doctor's opinion, the
pregnancy puts the woman's life at risk.
o The fetus has genetic malformations
o If the pregnancy continues, it would cause great damage to the
woman's health.
o Pregnancy is the product of unwanted artificial insemination
o The woman has economic reasons to interrupt the pregnancy and is
the mother of three children
HUMAN PROTECTION
Avoid clandestine deaths, the loss of a family
member and be able to avoid the sterilization of
women in the future
ABORTION IN MEXICO
Abortion in Mexico, referred to as induced abortion
or voluntary interruption of pregnancy, has been
decriminalized since 2007 at the request of the
woman up to 12 weeks of pregnancy in Mexico City,
but penalized in 18 of the 31 constitutions of the
Mexican states.
At the same time, the health law prevents three cases
of collusion of criminal responsibility for the
interruption of pregnancy in the case of pregnancy
resulting from rape when the pregnancy endangers
