EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
y This report is made for the directors of shoppers stop

to take required actions as there is a problem of poor use of sales staff and poor customer handling in there store in Lucknow . I have prepared this report after getting complains from many customers related to poor the problem of poor customer handling. I have done lot of research before preparing this report and have recommended that I feel are needed to overcome this problem

INTROD CTION
y Shoppers stop is an Indian department store promoted

by K RAHEJA group y Started in the year 1991 ,it has around 33 stores in 14 cities in India y Shoppers stop also operate a number of specialty store like crossword , mother care , desi caf and Arcelia y Shoppers stop retails products of domestic and international brands such as Pepe, Arrow ,Biba, carbon, magpie , Lego , Nike, Reebok etc

PROBLEM
y Shoppers stop store in Lucknow has a problem of poor

customer handling and poor use of sales staff y There are many section in the store where u will find not a single sales staff present to assist any customer y There are many sales staff present but most of them were found in few sections only and were mainly talking with each other instead of attending there customers

y I have supported my findings with photographs where

one can clearly see that many sections of store are vacant and not a single sales staff is present there y I gave questionnaire to around 30 customers and found out that most of them were facing the same problem

CONCL SION
y After doing lot of research and collection of data

related with the problem a conclusion can be drawn that there is problem of poor management of sales staff in the Lucknow store of shoppers stop which is resulting in lots of dissatisfied customers which is seriously affecting the brand image of shoppers stop

RECOMMANDATION
y Proper management and controlling of sales staff

should be done y There should be an all time monitoring system of sales staff during working hours y Stern action should be taken against staff member which are not performing there duties y Some employees should be given the responsblity to enquire customers about there experience of visiting the store and there feedback should be recorded
