Ethics
Ethics are a system of moral principles and a branch of philosophy which
defines what is good for individuals and society.

Moral principles that govern a person's behavior or the conducting of an


activity.

Ethics refers to moral values that are sound or reasonable, actions


or policies that are morally required (right), morally permissible
(all right), or otherwise morally desirable (good).
Engineering Ethics
Engineering Ethics is the study of moral issues and decisions
confronting individuals and organizations engaged in engineering.

Engineering ethics is the field of applied ethics and system of moral


principles that apply to the practice of engineering. The field
examines and sets the obligations by engineers to society, to their
clients, and to the profession

The Study of related questions about moral ideals, character, policies


and relationship of people and corporations involved in technological
activity
Why to study Engineering Ethics
Engineering ethics course is not about preaching rather, its objective
is to increase your ability as engineers to responsibly confront moral
issues raised by technological activity.

Professional ethics is a term that includes the organizational and
personal standards of behavior a professional individual is expected
to possess.
Most organizations have their own internal code of
practice that defines the professional ethics of a
certain profession
