from biomass Requirements • Biomass • Tanks • Bacteria enzymes (anaerobic bacteria) eg methanogens and high fungi • Pressure valves • Pipes Procedure
-The first step is to collect où main raw
material from dump point like (HYSACAM) and others . -later on we load all the waste products into the digester tank then the enzymes will be added in the first compartment of the tank on the waste, from here the biomass present will turn into sludge and collected in the second compartment. . - the biomass is then heated over 70⁰c to kill all harmfull organisms. Then the water is containing the anaerobic bacteria is pour to 40% of the tank volume The tank has pressure valves to avoid explosion The tank will be kept closed for three weeks .during this period of time ,the bacteria will completely digest the biomass producing biogasses such as methane,ethane,h2,c02 to 45% of the tank. . The gases are then separated for their various uses hence having ta highest quantity for heating Propane fpr heating and ethane used to produce plastics, Butane used for cookingand heating at homes, carbon dioxide is released in to the atmosphere. Remainscan later be reused as fertilizer. Advantages • The raw materials are widely availableas a renewable energy source. • It is carbon neutral • It reduces the overall dependence to fussil fuels • Biomass production adds a revenew source of manufacture • Generates in come Biogasscan be easily produces
