SELFLESS CONCERN FOR THE WELL-BEING OF OTHERS
“The Altruist club “ being the Social Responsibility club of IMI- Kolkata aims to
contribute to societal goals such as charity , philanthropy and various other social
activities by engaging all the communities in IMI-Kolkata.

If we perceive IMI-Kolkata as a corporate , then the Altruist club carries down the
Corporate Social Responsibility work of IMI-Kolkata.

The club spreads awareness about issues prevailing in the society such as hunger,
deforestation, poverty ,ESG necessity in corporates among others.
• BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN.
Took part in a blood donation campaign organised by ‘The Sambad’
(Odisha’s largest media company).
Have donated blood twice for the society and for the social need.

• Visited Old age home as well as orphanage.

It was really an indifferent experience specially visiting the orphanage.
It was one of the best time spent ,which I will never forget. We partied there, had
dinner with them. We also gave them gifts .
The smile on their faces is all that we looked for.
 EVENTS
The RED summit-

• In this event we can propagate the advantages as well as the necessities for donating blood.
• We can aware people , specially the students about how blood donation is beneficial for
them e.g. how it reduces risk of heart attack , helps in maintaining healthy lever etc.
• In offline mode a blood donation campaign should be held to help the society in as many
different ways we can.
