Zero Conditional: When the result


always happens.
e.g. : If water reaches 100c, it boils.
Formula for zero Conditional
• If S simple present C, N simple present C.
• E.g. If it snows, the weather is cold.
First Conditional

• If I get up early, I’ll cook


breakfast.
Use of the First Conditional

• To talk about a possible result in the future (when a condition is given).


If I see her, I won’t talk to her.
If Sarah has time, She’ll watch a TV series.

Formula:
If N simple present C, N Will/won’t Vsf C.
Note:
• You can use can instead of will.
• E.g. If you clean your room, you can play video games.
